my brother, uncle and i all live in an apartment with 8 cats in total, 3 being mine. one day a couple weeks ago it was raining really bad as it had been for days.flash floods, and tornado sirens going off all day long. in fact, he told me i had to take work off by how unsafe it was. i have a trauma of loosing a cat in the rain so i take this very deeply. he put my cats outside, to which i had to go get them back inside. i spent all day outside going after my cats, to just barely get them back inside before the rain got really bad and still ended up soaking wet. today, my uncle and i had an argument over that day. he says i'm just an overprotective cat mother and cats will do what they do. i mentioned that as a cat parent, it's my responsibility to make sure they stay out of situations that are bad. AITA for being upset at him?
