📝 AITA for cutting contact with my sister after she shared my eating disorder story on TikTok?

I (28F) have completely cut off contact with my sister (24F) over her TikTok "content" and now my entire family is blowing up my phone saying I'm being dramatic.

My sister has always been the oversharing type, but since becoming a "content creator" (she has like 30k followers), she's basically turned our family's private business into her personal content farm. I've repeatedly asked her to keep me out of her videos, but she says I'm "stifling her authentic voice" or whatever.

The final straw came last week when she posted a detailed video about my past struggle with an eating disorder in high school. She framed it as an "inspirational recovery story" but included extremely personal details I've never shared publicly. I only found out when a coworker mentioned seeing it.

when I confronted her, she got super defensive, saying it was "her story too" because she "went through it as my sister." She refused to take it down because it was "performing well" and could "help others."

I told her I was done and blocked her on everything. Now my parents are saying I'm being too harsh and that "she meant well." Even some mutual friends are suggesting I'm overreacting because "everyone shares everything online nowadays."

I'm honestly questioning myself now. Maybe I am being too sensitive? But I feel like there should be basic boundaries about sharing someone else's trauma for likes and follows. My therapist supports my decision to set boundaries, but my mom says I'm "tearing the family apart" over "just some videos."
