It was our 2 year anniversary. We decided to go get a dinner. He came to pick me up and said sorry I forgot to get you flowers but we can go get it. I thought it’s not perfect but that’s alright. We went to get food and he was hesitant about getting another appetizer because we already ordering a lot. I said get it I’ll put some money in and he answers “obviously”. I said oh really, but we dropped it. He asked for $40 when the bill was 94$. I was cool with that and said I’ll tip and I was planning on leaving a $30. The server was cool and I think he was my server every time I went there and we stayed pretty late. He said that’s way to much we had a little argument and I said okay I’ll leave $20. After we went to get flowers. I asked if he got me anything. He said no. I said so you forgot to get me flowers, couldn’t pay for the meal, and didn’t get me anything. I bought him a few gifts but haven’t given them to him. We got gifts for each other for 1 year anniversary so I assumed that’s what we were doing. But my question got him mad and he said that all I want is to get stuff from him and money. Am I in the wrong? Should I still give him the gifts?
