To start off, this all happened over a year ago. I had a best friend who had a talking stage (who I had already previously dated but before we were even friends). This talking stage of hers ended after 2 months because she felt like he still had feelings for me and she just didn't really like him all that much. A couple months later, he texts me and we end up talking. I tell her about this and she was VERY upset at me. She didn't like that I was talking to him because she had previously "dated" him. (Using the term dating very loosely, they only hung out in person once at a school event.) There was a lot of crap talking, blah blah blah, my life is ruined. Nobody at school will talk to me except my current bestfriend and people are getting yelled at by my ex bestfriend and two other girls for even texting me. People are calling me names, cyberbullying me, etc. I feel like my life is over because of this. It's been over a year since this all happened and me and my ex bestfriend have since resolved things. We have moved on and I'd even consider us friends. So, the problem today is that there are a select few girls who can't seem to let it go. They try to exclude me from everything, crap talk me for even existing, and act SUPER nice to my face. So AITA for getting with my ex bestfriends ex talking stage (who is also my ex)? Should these girls still be mad at me for something I did over a year ago? Even if I've since apologized and made peace with everybody involved?
