I am a lawyer that specialises in fraud cases. Around 2 months ago, a group of children came to me with the intention of suing their school. They said that their school committed fraud. Apparently, these kids wanted a SATs (Standard Assessment Tests) relief day with bouncy castles, sports games ect. The school came up with an agreement. If the students could raise the money needed they would use that money to organise a SATs relief day. They worked hard organising bake sales, fundraisers and even selling old stuff they didnt use. They got enough money by January. At the start of February however, the school made an announcement that the money would instead be used to pay for new stationary as they were running out and didnt want to use the school fund. Immediately students went ballistic. The moment thier schoolday ended they came running to the law firm i work at (it was the closest one). I went all out helping these kids and last week they finally won. The headteacher came to me after and called me an Ahole. My wife said that i was being an Ahole because in her words "stationary is more important than a relief day". So AITA?
