📝 AITA for inviting my friends to my party via group chat rather than individually?

Hi I'm having my 21st birthday party coming up with about 30 people invited. Since I'm inviting multiple different friend groups I sent my invitation to 3 different group chats on instagram, and some individually. Whilst a lot of people did accept my invitation in the group chats I noticed that a lot didn't respond as well. I also noticed that I had a higher response rate and acceptance from the individual invitations rather than the group one's. I have asked my parents and apparently sending out an individual invitation is much better as it feels more personal - and it's bad social etiquette, and apparently it was rude.

Now it's too late and it's already been sent. I also don't know if I am supposed to assume if the people who did not respond are not going as well. So in general I am wondering was it bad social etiquette to send my birthday invites to a group chat? And is there anything I can do now to fix this? Thanks!
