I have a friend, Sarah, who was moving into a new apartment this weekend. She asked if I could help her pack and move, but I had a pretty exhausting week at work and was feeling drained. I told her I couldn’t help because I needed to rest.

She was really upset and said that I’m being a selfish friend and should’ve made an effort, especially since I’ve asked for her help in the past. I feel bad, but at the same time, I just couldn’t bring myself to do it.
