📝 AITA for not switch jobs?

A few months ago I (25M) got incredibly frustrated with my work and wanted to switch to a new job/position. My parents (career coach and project manager) have been helping me look for new positions but in hind sight, I was just having a bad week and lack of social life so I took it out on my job. I like my job and the people I work with. I don't know what to do, one one hand I think that I'm just trying find excuses to not apply myself and move on, but on the other I know I won’t be there forever and sure I get frustrated, but I’m comfortable with where I am in life and I prefer to move jobs out of desire, not frustration.

Need some advice on how to communicate this with my parents. (Career advice would be helpful too if I really am finding excuses.)
