I (17 F) have had a bad relationship with my father as far back as I can remember. To make a long story short he’s a jobless deadbeat narcissistic abusive asshole who has made mine and my mother’s life hell. All he does is watch YouTube videos all day and bosses around. He’s pretentious as fuck he watched like 5 videos on a certain health topic and now he thinks he’s the most intellectual being on earth, arguing with actual legit doctors telling them they are dumb and don’t know shit. I haven’t been talking to him for about 8 months despite living in the same house. Anyways our house is being renovated and my mother is staying with me in my room. I have absolutely no problem with it because I love her but this morning I saw his toothbrush in my bathroom and I just felt so irritated. He always treats me like a subhuman and treats my brother nicely cuz he’s a misogynist. I told my mother to take his brush to my brother’s bathroom cuz I felt uncomfortable and annoyed and she said I’m not a nice person and I’m overreacting. Ion really like it when someone else’s belongings are in my personal space but especially his. AITA here????
