📝 AITA for not wanting to hear every detail about my friends' holidays in real time?

My good friends (a married couple) go on holiday at least 8 times a year, so it's every other month, if not a few months in a row. I get sent updates (via text) constantly - selfies, food pics, plans for the day etc. They told me to tell them if it's too much, but that they like to share photos with me. I couldn't tell them to stop, but I did say I may not have a response to everything. But even with that, I still feel obliged to respond.

AITA for not wanting updates all the time, or selfies of them at every single place they visit? What can I do/say? I haven't known them that long (just coming up to a year), but we're very close.

I don't feel jealousy as such, nor do I think they're trying to 'rub it in' or anything malicious like that. But I do live alone and am not in the same financial position as them, so it's demoralising at times.

How do I stop it without being mean???
