📝 AITA for refusing to pay what my nail tech asked of me

For context I go every month to this nail tech for gel nails, the first ever time you pay 50€ then 30€ each time. I’ve noticed she’s quite pushy (like she was trying to make me date another client) and not very organized (it’s also a hair salon/spa) but its kinda funny and endearing, even tho sometimes she makes me a bit uncomfy, those prices can’t be beat

Anyways last time I went she had doubled booked so made me wait more than one hour, I’m very patient and also way too shy so I didn’t say anything. Then her assistant (who’s very nice and seems to not always be comfortable around her) did my nails and it lasted like 1h30 hour. It was a French manicure with some stars and diamonds glued on it. I was very happy and when I went to pay she was a bit weird.

She hands me the QR code and I see 40€? I kindly tell her because I think maybe she mistyped yk? She tells me “well it took very long so I’m making you pay more. Next Time send us a pic of what you want if it’s complicated so we don’t lose as much time” I was a bit dumbfounded and looked at her assistant who seemed confused, the assistant said “it wasn’t that complicated don’t worry” in a nice tone clearly trying to make it less awkward.

So the owner says “well no she’s been there for almost 3 hours so yeah she’s paying 10€ more” she looked at me and with a fake smile was like “so are you scanning or not?” And idk what came over me I said no. I nicely told her I waited one whole hour and more and that’s why I’ve been there so long and that I understand next time I’ll send a picture of what I want, but I don’t see why I would pay 10€ more when I’ve patiently waited. She huffed and agreed reluctantly, I paid the right price but then she told my mom (who went the week after and I didn’t say anything to) that it was rude of me to refuse to pay what she tells me to, especially since I’m so young and a student and don’t understand anything about being an entrepreneur.

My mom agreed and paid her the difference, even tho she privately said she agreed with me she said I acted rude and should always accept the price I’m given

So am I the asshole ?
