Throwaway account for many reasons.
I (31f) work in Healtcare and have 4 client in total. We only have 2 staff on as we have a small client base. I had to take a client to the hospital for an appointment, leaving my colleague with the other 3. This is quite common as they all have appointments to go to. However this time my colleague kept messaging me, saying he was having issues but as I was busy I couldn't respond immediately. When I got back he told me that he'd lost his head - had a meltdown of some kind but was ok now. I did get concerned as he was looking after people who needed support and that'd happened. I mulled it over and found i couldn't keep quiet so I sent a email to my supervisor. Now I'm feelin guilty but I feel that safety is important as the clients are not able to do everything for themselves and how he might have become so bad that he wasn't able to help the clients.
Was I wrong?
