Lately I've been noticing a lot of people where I live stopping in moving traffic lanes, turning on their hazard lights, and getting out to visit nearby buildings. Sometimes it's a quick errand, sometimes it's a delivery, but it is always annoying. After a particularly frustrating incident on a one-lane road, I posted in a local Facebook group "Just so we're all on the same page, turning on your blinkers doesn't mean you can park wherever you want." A bit vague for sure, leaves some room for interpretation, but I didn't think it would be an unpopular opinion regardless. Within minutes the comments were filled with people mad at me for being inconsiderate of delivery drivers, saying I should just patiently wait for them to get back and not complain about it, and more shallow insults like "I bet you're fun at parties." I responded to a few to clarify that I was specifically referring to people blocking traffic, and not exclusively talking about delivery drivers, but they all just doubled down. So AITA or is this just a case of Facebook being a breeding ground for petty arguments?
