I’m 29 and I have a 4-year-old daughter. My brother’s wedding is later this year, and it’s no-kids allowed. I get it, their choice. But they’re not offering childcare, and I have no one nearby to help.
I told him I couldn’t come without her, and he told me I wasn’t trying hard enough. Like... I should just hire someone random to watch my kid for a night?
I told him if me being a mom is such a hassle, maybe I don’t need to be there. Now he’s mad, my mom is trying to fix it, and I feel like everyone thinks I’m being difficult.
AITA for saying no?
