Aita? I 36 female am maried to my 43 husband for the past 14years. We started dating when i was 20yo, he was my 3rd relashionship in my whole life. We have 3 kids together, I worked cleaning houses up until the 3rd baby came along but,with the daycare costs it didn't make sense for me to keep going to clean the client's houses so I stayed home took care of everything,the 3 kids were 3yo and under so it was always busy and they were poor sleepers so I was always a zombi. I still worked from home so my hands were full. My husband worked construction and I never asked for any type of help at all, I would find solutions for everything and when we went somewhere with the kids I was always whatching them on my own because if I asked him he would just let the kids do whatever they wanted(2 of them are autistic) and I know that the kids would just runaway for the streets or something. Since I made the mistake of taking care of absolutely everything in the house every time I ask him to do anything around the house he will either not do it or do it complaining or I need to stand beside him handing him anything he needs. So today I asked him to hang the internet router (I could've done it myself) and he went on complaing and saying things that were upsetting me very much, I have no voice right now due to a cold so I went up to him (he was seating on the floor) and I confess I slapped his upper arm out of anger and not just to get his attention. I regreted and said I was sorry ... He lost it, not even heard me saying I was sorry he slapped my arm in the same manner and got up(I'm 5,3 and he is 5'11) making a fist . I didn't back down ,nothing else happened physically only verbal - so i lost the little voice i had- but my daughter saw everything... He said he was sorry and all but AITA for starting this situation?
