My brother is in his late teens I’m a few years older in college. Our parents are divorced so we can go to each parent’s house. I have exams coming up and have been trying to sleep early. He stays up and since I’m a light sleeper with crazy hearing I can hear things late at night like him laughing at the TV. I asked him like three times nicely to stop and he didn’t and finally last night I just snapped. Had a mental breakdown, started crying, said I’d have let him sleep if he had important exams. I think he finally got the message because he left this morning before I even woke up. I don’t know why I feel like an ass ?? I’m just tired (literally and figuratively) and now he’s gone to the other parent’s place
