Hey so this whole situation is honestly just weird and kind of exhausting but I need to know if I am actually in the wrong here

I (21F) and my ex is (23M). We broke up a couple months ago after being together for two years. It was not some huge dramatic breakup we were just not happy anymore and it felt like the right time to let go

Anyway after the breakup I was kind of just doing my own thing and trying to get back on my feet. I am in school and money has been super tight so I started an OnlyFans. Nothing wild or super explicit mostly lingerie pics and stuff like that. I have always been confident in my body and honestly it felt kind of empowering. It also helps me pay rent so win win right

Well apparently not. My ex found out about it somehow and ever since he has been telling people I am gross and that I am just trying to get attention. He even screenshotted my page and sent it to people we both know and told them I turned into a hoe. Like okay first of all it is behind a paywall and second of all we are not even together anymore so why is it his business

Some mutual friends are taking his side and saying I changed or that this is not something a girl with self respect would do. But I genuinely do not feel like I did anything wrong. I am not involving anyone in it I keep it private and I am not doing anything illegal

I just feel kind of crappy now because I was finally starting to feel confident again and now I feel like I have to defend myself for something that honestly should not even be his concern anymore

So yeah am I the asshole for starting an OnlyFans after the breakup even if it upset my ex?
