Ok so the title sounds bad but here me out. So I (19F) and my cousin (K)(21F) have never had a really good relationship ever since we were little. She has definitely been very mean and disrespectful as long as I remember. Me and all my cousins are really close ( I would say like sisters) and we all have gotten into pretty big fights with K. She usually starts it because frankly she's really petty and just over really difficult person to get along with.

Anyways how this whole thing started was pretty stupid. So we were all at a family event, and I showed up in shorts and a tight fitting top. It was a barbecue outside so I knew it would be hot. As soon as I walk in K immediately glared at me asking "What the hell are you wearing". I tried to play it off as a joke and started laughing as she said "Oh honey you look ridiculous". I still tried to play it of as a joke and said, "Oh honey you can't be talking". She got quiet and after that the whole night got pretty awkward. After that I left early. I thought it was just a tiny joke, like she took a dig at me and I roasted her back, but apparently I was wrong. Later that night I got a huge paragraph from her basically saying how I'm a "terrible person" for fat shaming her. I told her that the comment was not about her weight it was about her outfit, and I asked why she thought I was terrible person even though she's always the one to start the drama.

She basically ignored my entire paragraph and started spewing things about how my boyfriend "doesn't love me" and how I'm a slut for the things I wear. I responded by saying " See your literally just proving my point so stay mad." Which was a little childish of me but I really didn't care. She went on to say how i'm so flat and I wear push up bra's to make it look like I have some, and that I wear dresses that show off "everything". I told her she actually a disgusting person for commenting on my body to which she responded with " I didn't comment on ur body I commented on what you do to it." I said, " Yes you did. And don't try to comment on peoples body's until you drop that donut and go to the gym".

She said how I'm the disgusting person and she wishes I was never born. After that she blocked me in all social medias. I should mention that her weight has always been a really big insecurity of hers and I probably shouldn't have gone as low as she did but every time we get in a fight I always have to be the bigger person and apologize. My family and friends all say that I took it to far and knew she was insecure about that but I don't know. So AITA for telling my cousin can't talk about peoples body until she goes to the gym?
