My two sons aged 8&6 kept sneaking the chocolate that was supposed to be from the easter bunny. They did this twice after finding my hiding spot and replacing everything. Fast forward to the night before Easter and I went to check and get everything ready for the next day. Come to find there was only 3 chocolates left and a bunch of empty wrappers. Everything was closed and I had no way of being able to replace anything at all. Knowing they'd be waking up to nothing I decided to let them know that the easter bunny wasn't real and they'd be receiving nothing because they had already ate everything. My children father is quiet annoyed at me for telling them that he didn't think it was necessary. But I didn't know how else to explain when they woke up in the morning and seen nothing for them? I thought it'd be easier so they didn't get there hopes up because there expecting there usual easter gifts.
