I had originally posted this on j.ai official but it got taken down. I don't know where to post that's actually appropriate and I need answers. Before you comment hate yes I know this is nsfw, yes I know that isn't the intent of this sub reddit, but I also know you shouldn't have clicked 'view nsfw content' if you didn't want to see that.

The title is an argument as old as time and I wanted more opinions on it. There's a few camps in this debate. 1, it doesn't matter your gender just use a fem character, there's a separation from you and your personas for a reason 2, you don't have to be a woman to use it you just can't be a man, non binary people, agender people etc are welcome as long as u aren't a guy 3, it really isn't that deep do what you want 4, u gotta be a lesbian otherwise you're fetishizing them u fucking perv

one of my lesbian friends gave me shit for using a wlw bot when I don't identify as a lesbian or a woman, and i'm not really sure if that's valid because I'm not a guy either. Context: i'm bisexual, AFAB, and not really sure of my gender yet. I know I'm not a girl and not a guy, at least not in the binary sense. I lean towards masculine presentation, and use he/they pronouns, bind, etc. I just happen to look really masculine naturally I suppose and people assume i'm a cis guy somehow, personally i don't see it. It came in handy when I identified as a trans guy a while ago but isn't really important to me anymore.

Essentially my friend made me feel really guilty and perverted for using the bot and accused me of fetishizing lesbians, even though I used a fem persona and i'm not even a guy let alone a cis one. But even if I was a binary trans dude, or a cis dude, would it be inherently wrong to use a wlw bot?

I mean for me which bots I use has a bit to do with my gender identity and sexuality, as someone w/o a dick or prostate mlm bots aren't very satisfying for me bc i cant relate to it if that makes sense, like I dont know what that kind of stuff is like. And cis men aren't rlly my preference. i'm not even going to consider straight RPs because they jusy don't do anything for me idk why, so i use wlw bots often but not exclusively(t4t mlm bots are fire but that's a topic for another day)

Personally I dont think men/masculine identifying individuals using fem bots and doing lesbian shit(what would you call that, cross fucking? Lmaoo)is an issue, what gets you going gets you going yk? like i do not understand why anyone cares. i mean if you aren't going to use a female/fem character in the RP i dont see the point of using a WLW bot but if ur a guy who gets off on doing that so long as you follow the rules of the RP(using a fem char) I don't see why it's anyone's business? I feel like sticking your nose in someone's sexual preferences and analyzing them is objectively weirder than just liking what you like so long as it isn't pedophilic or that kind of shit. But then again I'm not sure if I have the right to speak on this. Lesbians in the comments lmk what you think. Everyone else too.
