Okay so listen, my one friend was going to Disney and I said I would watch her dog while she was gone. No biggie. I work with her soon to be sister in law, who planned her wedding to my friend’s brother the week before the Disney trip. They weren’t financially able to take a honeymoon, but then the week of the wedding they were given enough money as a gift to go. My coworker asked me if I would watch their dogs during their honeymoon- the week of my friend’s Disney trip. I figured that’s fine because my friend has a house with a yard, and these are her brother’s dogs- I will just bring all the dogs to the house and it’ll be fine. This was not fine. I told my friend the plan when I saw her at the rehearsal dinner. She said okay and then got up to do her speech. She ended up hiring someone else to watch her dog and hasn’t spoken to me since she got back from her trip. Is this 6 year friendship over? Am I The Asshole??
