I quit my nanny gig 03/26 so 10 days ago after the 9 year old punched me in the chest and stabbed my leg ripping skin off. Went to urgent care and made the decison to quit that night. Mom gets paid every two weeks and she then send my hours to her father who does my payroll - he tells her how munch to send me and she does via paypal usually on sunday mornings of pay week. Well i assumed she had my hours 10 days ago so paying me would be no issue. Its sunday afternoon and I sent a text to her and her father asking about my pay and the $50 reimbursment she owes me and she responded saying she did not send him hours and that I would be paid tomorrow. knowing her that means tomorrow night. WTH! AITA for wanting to send a message that isnt so kind demanding to be paid today? or because i wuit suddenly is this what i deserve? she had no care about me when i quit and got mad that i even went to urgent care. what should i do? moms who have a nanny what do you think?
