A couple of my friends from college are coming from out of state to celebrate my birthday and the launch of my business. super exciting. they are only here for the weekend and we havent seen eachother in almost a year. I sent out an itenerary last week and suggested the night before my bday we would do a game night as the bday celebration and brunch the next morning, followed by my launch party. which left the whole daytime friday and all day sunday to explore and do whatever - and blocking friday night and saturday for celebrations. She just texted and asked if we would be open to going to a game friday night and knowing its the NBA playoffs i said "prices are crazy so nah" and her response was that her and her bf are going because he couldnt wait. AITA for being annoyed that they bought tickets without talking to me? I know the game will be insane and awesome but we have such little together. I havent responded yet because idk if its bogus for me to be upset about it or not. I know they are coming all the way out here for me but it feels like its going to turn into NBA playoff weekend instead of the actual reason they came. Plus... i really wanted to do game night. anyways, thoughts? AITA?! probably?
