AITA for wanting a weekend getaway without step daughter? My husband and I are planning a weekend trip to go hiking. We do have a family vacation coming up (which obviously includes his stepchild) in a few months. I do not have any children and I just want to have a weekend trip with my husband for more bonding time and every time we are on a trip with his stepchild the world revolves around her which I completely agree with that happening on trips. But with every trip we go on my fiancé and I rarely talk to each other and interact due to him having to entertain his stepchild (who is 6yrs old). I just want a 2 day getaway so husband and I can bond more
