I(16f) have a boy best friend(17m) that im very close to. He was there when i was going through some mental health issues and is still helping me recover. I have developed feelings for him but the problem is he had a gf(16f). I eventually confessed my feelings to him because I knew we would never happen anyway so I might as well tell him. He said that he really loved me too but he didn't know how to break up with his girlfriend but when he did we could date. Just a week after that talk his girlfriend committed suicide for reasons I don't think she's comfortable with me putting on reddit. Of course I didn't immediately ask him to go out with me. At her funeral another of my friends(13f) ended up comforting him. This girl knew i liked him but she still asked him out a few days after. She is really making him happy and helping him cope and they are being very romantic with each other in front of me, making out, sexual comments about each other, atuff like that and it's honestly making me jealous. It also makes me a bit uncomfortable as they have a rather large age gap and she's very young and in my opinion not exactly old enough to be having intercourse whith an almost adult. Im also very confused because he promised he would go out with me when he broke up with his ex and i don't understand if he still has feelings for me or if he never had feelings at all. I wanted to talk to him about it he went on a vacation and i had broken my phone so i didn't have any way to contact him. I know this is very idiotic but I asked his now girlfriend if she could text him and ask if he still has feelings for me and she understandably got really mad at me calling me bitchy and other names. Now she doesn't want to talk to me and our other friends are siding with her. AITAH?
