I (18 F) live with my grandma. For context I have long and thick hair, but due to depression I cannot take care of it. I also bleached it a few months ago, but now it's matting and falling out in clumps. I can't afford to buy special shampoo and conditioner for it, and honestly it's become too much of a hassle.

I asked my grandma if I could shave it and she threatened to kick me out if I do. (I do not have a job to support myself and am mentally ill.)

She told me she doesn't want me looking like a boy. She yelled at me when I said that's not her decision.
