It was a family members birthday recently (close family) they went out for a meal with my siblings but didn't invite me at all. I've been invited without my husband before because we have kids and noone else to look after the kids for us which is why I get asked without him. It was a late meal in a loud place which would is one of the reasons my kids would not have been going. Since my brother decided that "all kids" annoy him, me and my family are not invited to things if he's there (he is golden child) but it now seems I'm not invited either. He doesn't seem to mind still going to see his in-laws kids often, although not as often as he uses to, but he has always openly favoured that side of the family anyway, it's almost like my kids don't exist. I've nit even seen my brother and his wife for 6 months now and actually I think I want to keep it that way. It's just annoying that I wasn't even thought of to be invited by myself to the meal like in the past. To top it off the photos on Facebook has my siblings and 1 other taking a picture mocking my children.
