My bf told me he has to stay late at work tonight and i’m pretty sure it’s the manager that he’s “scared of” making him stay late & reason why is apparently the regional manager is coming in tomorrow. He has talked shit about her calling her a linebacker and how he hates her right? Well, legally they can’t keep him past his scheduled time and he told me he has like 6 homework assignments due tonight & said he doesn’t know how hes supposed to help out at work and get school done. To add onto that, I asked him why someone can’t cover for him. He told me “someone is covering for me, but i am being asked to cover for someone else”. My other friend just told me it’s because he prolly thinks she’s hot and he isn’t saying no because of that. Do yall think I’m overreacting this? Should I ask him why he chooses to stay late instead of doing homework if he hates her so much?
