Okay so, the title is a little harsh, but I need everyone to hear me out. Just a minute ago I was scrolling through tiktok when I came across a slideshow of this little boy with a cleft lip. The slideshow basically said that some people call him “unique” or “special” but his mother says that he’s just beautiful, which he is. When I went to the comment section, there was an overwhelming amount of people saying the rudest things about this innocent child. Most of these comments were people just saying things like,”ummm” or “luck for you, i’m on a ban warning” which is just horrible in my opinion, so I went straight into defense mode. I can admit, I DID say worse things about these people than what they were saying about the boy, but I do not regret it at all! Most of my replies to these hateful comments were,”you are a disgusting person for saying these things about a child. Get help.” I feel like I MAY have been a bit overboard by these comments, but to be fair, I was saying these things to ADULTS as a teen, they were saying these things to a TODDLER. So please tell me, was a a bit TOO overboard with the replies?
