Here's a breakdown of events (we're all 17 btw) - she started talking to him but always told me she wasn't interested and they'd both made it clear they were just friends - one day she noticed he and i getting closer and asked whether i liked him, i said i wasn't sure and she said the same - she told me she did not want to date as she wanted to focus on her studies and that she "had convinced herself" she was completely over the 'crush' - he and i confessed feelings for each other and decided to go on a date - about two weeks later a couple days before the date i told my friend to be on the same page and she was really really angry at me for not telling her sooner - she mentioned that she had been crying everyday for like a week about the situation without telling me - we kind of figured it out at the end of the convo so i went on the date - the date went well and we are continuing which i told her today - she has been acting really mad
