About a week ago I ordered from a national fast food place off their app and paid via apple pay. It seemed super normal but all of the sudden I got 8 texts in rapid succession that said "your order is ready, please proceed to the pickup counter where your order is waiting for you."

I logged into my credit card app and yes it had 8 pending charges. I went up to the counter and verified to the young guy working there that they only had one order fo me. He went to the back and double and triple checked and said they only had one order for me.

I decided to contact the company and explain what happened. It took a few days but they responded with an email that said their records said I placed all the orders and that I should try to work it out with the store.

I went into the store and asked for a manager and she said that she had made the orders and they had been picked up. I said that I have no doubt that since it's just a bunch of shelves that no one is checking that someone else probably stole them. She asked me who i spoke to and i said i didn't remember his name. I couldn't think of any way else to describe him so I said "he was a kind of a little gay kid."

The manager didn't say anything about that but the look on her face basically insinuated I un-aliv-ed her dog. She said the best thing to do at this point was dispute the chargers with my credit card but she was going to fight the disputes. I said this was ridiculous and left. When I told my aunt about it she said I screwed up royally by how I described the worker who helped me that the manager thought I was a major asshole and I deserved what I got.
