Can someone tell me if I’m just overthinking this or if my feelings are valid? I work during the weekdays, and my husband works from Thursday through the weekend. On his days off, he often spends a lot of time with this girl that we know, who isn’t even a relative of his. They usually play sports together, just the two of them, right when I get home from work so I can take care of our child.
He does ask me if I want to come along, but he knows I’m not really into those kinds of activities, especially since I can’t fully enjoy them with our child constantly needing my attention.
At first, it was fine with me because I thought it would just be a one-time thing, but lately they’ve been doing it more and more often. Now I’m left wondering, am I wrong for saying no when he invites me? Or is he wrong for still going, knowing we barely get time together as a family because of our work schedules?
I’ve also started to feel uncomfortable with how often they go out alone, just the two of them. It’s beginning to really bother me.
