Went out with my kinda boyfriend today,, haven’t been together for long. He is much taller than me, 6’3, i’m 5’5, so arguably has a better view of surroundings whilst out. But oh my god. Every 5 mins he’s grabbing hold of my shoulders and moving me out the way of people that i was not in the way of to begin with. For example, this lady walks past, easily has at least an arm span of space and is comfortably walking by, he still moves me, telling me essentially i cannot coordinate myself. He will purposefully try to trip me up and then put his hands out to catch me like i’m some child. I may just be being dramatic, but it makes me embarrassed and feel patronized. He may just be trying to be nice, but i’m also a fully functional adult who can coordinate herself without a man moving me around all the damn time.
