So here’s what happened. My girlfriend told me the night before that she had to go somewhere around 7 AM. That’s fine, I had no issue with that.

But from 7 until 10 AM, I didn’t hear anything from her. Not even a quick text. Around 10, once she was done, I asked her why she hadn’t texted me at all. She just said she forgot because she was busy. Again, I probably would’ve understood that, if that were the full story.

But then I found out that at 8 AM, right in the middle of that “busy” period, she had replied to another guy on social media to follow each other and play a game together (Valorant). Not just a reply, she agreed to his request to follow each other on social media.

The kicker is, she did this from one of her other accounts, the one she thought I didn’t know about.

Yeah, I admit, I was in the wrong for snooping. I got curious, I checked, and ended up finding something that really hurt me. Maybe I shouldn’t have looked, maybe I should’ve just ignored it and let her do whatever she wants behind my back, at least until something serious came to light that made me completely lose interest.

For the record, I don’t usually get upset when she forgets to text or is busy. It’s happened before and I’ve always let it slide. But this time felt different, like I was just an afterthought, while someone else got her attention.

So yeah… AITAH for feeling upset and betrayed?
