📝 AITAH for Messing With a Psych Ward Patient?

I'm almost always going to be the asshole if I tell a story here. Let's see what you guys think of this.

My friend was admitted to the psych ward, for a serious mental break down and she wasn't eating anything. She likes beauty products and quick treatments. So I told her eating apples would make her look younger to get her to eat them. Then I told her lies about all the food I saw, so she would eat her food. She's been eating more lately, and feeling better. She says she's noticed a difference in her skin tone, but that could be the fact that she's actually eating food.

Next, I lied to her and told her some of the pills her doctor wants her to take makes her skin more tight and elastic, they also improve feet to look younger.

I got her to start stretching in the morning and night because I told her a famous youtube beauty guru said it was good to do for a youthful complexion. Her doctor wanted her to do that, so yea.

I mean technically, I was trying to help her, but also technically, she may find out these are all more of my lies. It sounds good, in theory, but think about the other hand, what if she figures it out and starts to regress to not trying to take care of herself - she won't do it if its just for her health, it MUST be all about beauty. I already know health and beauty are linked, but SHE doesn't respond to the notion. The other thing I'm worried about is if she finds a way to over eat or over dose. They give her a cup with pills and a tray with food, so in theory it should be fine. But if my trickery kills her, I pretty sure I'll be a big asshole.

So, opinions? Am I the asshole for this? You've got the reasoning and the counter thoughts, I'm all ears, and a big mouth.
