So a little background I'm 25 (f) and my partner is 31(m) we have been in a relationship a little over a year and do not have any kids together. I work in a hospital and in the ER specifically and have seen multiple instances that have made me form my own opinions. I want to never be intubated regardless of what may have caused that to happen. He is constantly bringing it up and telling me l'm selfish and arguing over it. I personally do not want to be swayed one side or the other. I just want him to respect my medical decisions. If I have kids when I'm older I might change them and that was discussed but as it stands right now I want to be a DNI. Am I the asshole for wanting my medical decision to be respected and not argued over ?
