I (22f) love watching the podcast Chuckle Sandwich. For those of you who don’t know, every year they have a DnD episode where Slimecicle (Charlie) creates a sandwich themed campaign for them. I fell in love with it. I brought one of the campaigns to my play group and asked if I could host this one off and give the DM a break, they excitedly agreed. We had a ton of fun, the players loved the campaign and asked that whenever the DM needs another break if I could host another one. Fast forward to 2 weeks after that session. The DM texts in the group chat “OP didn’t create her campaign… she stole it” and dropped a link to the original episode. I didn’t think I presented the campaign as my own but I will say I didn’t tell them where I got it at the time however, they never asked so I never thought to tell them. Now I’m getting bashed in the group and one of the players even suggested I leave the group. I tried to tell them my side but they wouldn’t listen.
