So there is a bit of an update, a few months after everything happened. I received a letter from my parents a few weeks ago, and I waited for a little bit to open it. my parents haven't really spoken to me since I left for college, and I was enjoying the quiet. Who knew having a quiet normal life was so great?

When I did finally open it, I found out that they had disinherited me, and this was a legal notice of it. I...just laughed at it. Like, laughed like a complete loon. I don't know what they thought this was going to do. If you guys haven't been following along, my parents ae completely broke. There was nothing to inherit even if they died tomorrow. All my brother Ethan is going to inherit is a bunch of things that are going to be repossessed. Their house has another mortgage on it, their retirement accounts are empty, and they have nothing to value in their home. So he can have...whatever there is to have?

I haven't told my grandparents yet. I don't want to get them mad, because there is no reason to get them upset over whatever this is.
