📝 AITAH for not going to school/extracurriculars because of my periods?

I (17F) have very painful periods from the time I was about 14. It includes my stomach hurting like hell, the feeling that I will vomit anything I eat (sometimes really vomiting), my thighs and shoulders hurting (as if pulled badly), I have bad headache and usually all my joints hurt bad. My mom doesn’t want me to take any painkillers at all (she usually gives me tea and hot water bottle if it gets bad), but I have started to take them without asking - one pill in the worst day. But even so, it’s really not great. I am not super sporty but I do something at least 3 times a week but when I get my period, the first 2-3 days, I am not able to do the sports. But some of those were paid for by my parents and they get really passive-aggressive when I miss it. I have talked about it also with other female family members (grandma, aunt…) and they say that this is normal and every woman is able to get through it and not “grouse” about it so I should too. I myself feel really bad for doing so, so I usually just get through it, but sometimes I just can’t. I just want to know if this is normal or if I am just lazy and spoiled. Thank you for honest answers and sorry for any misspellings - English is not my first language.
