So this is gonna be quick. My mom went for grocery shopping before telling me to wake up since I had been sleeping from the evening and it was turning night. I was getting a school nap after getting only 7 hours for the past 2 days and went into deep sleep very quickly. When my mom came, she supposedly rang the doorbell and I didn’t hear it and she said that she had been knocking and ringing the doorbell and even calling my name from the past hour (idk how much of that she spent knocking, cuz 1 hour was the total time she went out for). I hadn’t heard anything and now she scolded me. Calling me lazy, and every other name in the book parents use when they’re pissed off (for no reason). I can’t even explain to her why I could hear (because your brain practically shuts off communication from the outside world) but she’s that old generation who say screens can cause blindness. Now I am writing this after my sleep is good ruined and I lost my mom emotionally. So AITAH?
