20F i recently got a text from one of my exes. it was more of a situationship than a relationship, but to sum it up it was a while ago and he wasn’t over his ex, and things became sour when he did not make the relationship official. i had told him that i was not comfortable with doing things of a sexual nature or relationship things in general without making things official. after that he slowly turned bitter and ended up ghosting me with no explanation. he sent me a text “apologizing” for his actions, and ghosting me, a few weeks ago. now, i didn’t know exactly how to respond because i had already moved way on, and didn’t really want him in my life again. so, i left him on read, to let him know that i had seen the message, and get the hint that i would not be responding. there was some sexual assault involved as well.

should i have responded? or are my actions justified?
