Alright for context I (15m) and my brother (17m) were getting off the bus and walking home, but you see my Mom's husband dosn't really like us. I even overheard him saying " We need to get rid of them." Anyways, Me and my brother get home and the front door is locked, so we go to the backyard and try the back door, its locked so we wait. My brother texted our mom to see what was the holdup. AND for context the husband barely goes to work. HE WAS AT HOME. And the minute it turns 4 it all of sudden he has to go somewhere. Usually brother has a key to the house but my mom took it so we no other way inside. And for context what my mom said in the text was " I'm at the store yall can wait an hour." Me and brother were appalled. So when she came home, I didn't speak to her. AITAH?
