For context, me, my best friend, and a friend of hers have a trip to Arizona planned from the 11th-14th. Initially I was arriving late on the 10th and the two of them early on the 11th. I messaged them in our group chat saying I would really like to go see a canyon. There was every excuse in the world. We wouldn’t have time, we had nothing planned Friday so I introduced the idea. Then it was am I willing to drive three hours. I said yes. Then it was complaints about jet lag and flying in at 8am. Then they introduced the idea of getting rid of the hot air balloon ride for the canyon tour. I said no, I wanted to do both. At the end no one wanted to go so I went ahead and changed my flight to a morning instead of evening, booked a rental and a canyon tour. Then I told her what I did and said that I really wanted pictures of the scenery there since that’s what they’re known for. She goes well you should’ve just said that you wanted pictures. Yesterday she texted me asking if she should switch her flight to the same morning I’m going because now she wants to go to the canyon. Would I be the ass to ask her not to ? I’ve kind of already planned a solo day for myself and I think it’s odd she even wants to after I had to go through all this trouble.
