Long story short we recently received a new manager at the place I work at and he’s a huge asshole, he’s one of those managers that takes their job way tooo serious just to be promoted to a higher rank. Anywho he’s been micromanaging us since he got here and has been causing friction at the workplace, before he arrived we had a supportive environment where we would help each other out when it came to sales and share profit equally, however he’s trying to takeaway those fundamental principles we have established by pinning us against one another and it’s really making each and every one of us uncomfortable. In the past days he’s been getting all chummy with me, thanking me for doing these overtime hours and helping him with the inventory count as well as the inclusion of helping with the resetting of the store, but… during these times he’d talk to me about a specific coworker who he hates and starts talking trash about them, saying how she complains instead of doing her job and how she’s not producing sales etc. Like the things he’s been saying, I don’t think a manager should say to someone like me, what should I do?
