My partner’s family wants to come stay with us for a full month and honestly, I’m not comfortable with it. I work from home and our place isn’t that big sohaving people around 24/7 would mess with both my routine and my peace of mind. I brought it up and tried to explain where I was coming from, but now I’m being called selfish and “not family-oriented.”

I’m not trying to be rude, I just feel like this should’ve been a conversation not something I’m expected to just go along with.
