This happened last year at my aunt's 60th birthday. She decided to have a themed birthday party, the theme was "glittery/sparkly" I chose to wear a long silver glittery dress. While I was getting ready I overheard my parents talking about bringing someone with us to the party (a family friend), I didn't think much of it cos I thought it was gonna be any of my relatives. When I got outside I saw the man that my parents were talking about, he looked about 50 yrs old and again I didn't think much of it, so I got in the car and I was sitting behind him, he tried to make conversation but I didn't answer him most of the time. Now back to the most important part, when we got inside my aunt was at those photoshoot places taking photos with her friends/relatives. Everyone wished her a lot of good things in life, when she asked "who wants to go next?" the family friend touched my waist and tried to lead me to her. I said that I wouldn't want to go right now and that someone else should do it before me. I obviously felt really uncomfortable and I even had to sit at the food table FACING HIM. I felt really uncomfortable while eating so I asked my dad to drive me and my sister home and he agreed. I don't know if I'm being dramatic because in my country lt's normal to do that, but still. It's been over a year now and I still haven't told anyone in my family, only some close friends online. I was too scared and still am too scared to tell anyone in my family, my uncle is having his 70th birthday this year and I believe the family friend will be there again so I wouldn't wanna show up. am I the asshole for not wanting to be around him anyone?
