šŸ“ AITAH for not wanting to give my parents my tax money?

My parents have struggled with money management for as long as I can remember. For instance, they recently financed new iPhones and Apple Watches despite already having significant debt from other purchases. I'm currently in college, and ironically, I'm studying to become an accountant. (I’m about to finish freshman year) AITAH for not wanting to give my parents my 1098-T form so they can claim the American Opportunity Tax Credit (AOTC)? We're not low-income; my parents do help with my expenses, like covering rent since I live at home, etc., and I am grateful for that. However, they've made it clear that if they were to receive any money from claiming the credit, none of it would be used toward my education or support; it would go toward their usual pattern of poor financial decisions. Some people might say I should try to come to an agreement with them, but I know my parents. There won't be a compromise, and any money they receive would be spent entirely on themselves. I can't help but feel like I'm missing out on funds that could really help with my tuition, but if I wouldn't see a dime of it anyway, what's the point?
