I 16F have my GCSEs in May and my mothers brothers and sisters are coming over during the half term and they want to have a meal with my family and I. I have not spoken to these people since I was around 7/8 and they have made 0 efforts to contact me and there has been lots of family drama between them and my parents. For context they live across the globe from us and 1 out of the 3 don’t even speak English, so it’s very rare to see them irl. However they want the meal to be during the week off smack bang in the middle of my GCSEs, my father has called me selfish and told me that I “make everything about myself” when I said that I have GCSEs to study for and I probably can’t see them. Additionally I do have some scars on my arms and they have a history of being very against that sort of thing and are VERY judgmental. So am I the asshole?
