📝 AITAH for refusing to be a surrogate "just because" both parents will be working full time?

It shouldn't need to be said that I have nothing against parents who have no other choice. But I was very enthusiastic to be a surrogate for my best friend and his husband until I learned they'd both continue working full time once parental leave is over, even though they have sufficient means for one to be a stay at home dad. Carrying through a pregnancy would obviously be a huge sacrifice on my part and I want to know they're fully committed to parenthood, as am I (I already have a son,) not treating it as peripheral to their career/other goals. They try to justify it by saying they want to invest financially in their child's future, but to me it's clear the most important thing for a child is spending quality time with them, especially since we live in such a privileged country (NZ) where there's little cause to fret about money. I know surrogacy is always 100% my choice, but do you think my reason for declining is fair?
