Hey guys!

So yesterday, I put my resume for a government job (event organizer in the university) for fun, not expecting anything out of it because we have a test to pass to be accepted.

For context, my country runs on 'favors' meaning that you need people to intervene for you for a lot of jobs, so my father started pressuring me after I told him I put my resume in that said place, he started calling people trying to get me the job "the easy way". The other thing is he always had a tendancy to "get ahead of time" meaning he starts projecting and thinking about the future before I even do, ultimately pressuring me into accepting or doing something I don't want to do.

However, due to the exam place being far away, I hesitated, as I wanted to know exactly what are the benefits of having said job "money mainly lol". He started pressuring me and screaming at me calling me a child (am 28 btw) and that I need to think about my future. So I just cracked and told him fuck my future, just leave me be.

He's not talking to me now, so am I the asshole for how I reacted?
